Malcolm X was a motivational speaker that rhetorically moved mostly the colored masses into his beliefs of black empowerment and to rise above black degradation placed upon by the Anglo race. Malcolm X spoke using slang arising from his street oratoricals due to his political diversity brought about from black cultural diversity. His ability to motivate listeners helped enlighten awareness that attitudinal change was required on both sides of the fence of which ultimately would bring about a harvest of cultural literacy.
